GOD'S CONCEPT ABOUT MARRIAGE(PT 2).

 1.TWO ALONE MAKE A HOME:In God's concept about marriage' two alone make a home."For this reason shall a man leave his father and cleave to his wife"(mark 10:7).A home is formed at the coming together of only two,not more & when they are more than two, it becomes a house. 2.TW0 BECOME ONE:In God's concept of marriage, a man and a woman are to become one.This unity is supposed to affect all realms.Spirit,soul and body.Spiritually,they should belong to the same spiritual kingdom.In th realm of the soul, they should be able to think and speak on one accord.Physically,they should be able to freely share their bodies together.When unity exists between a couple, tremendous power is made available and the impossible becomes possible to them.It is the original concept of God in marriage that couples enjoy the benefits of oneness. 3.MATURITY:In God's concept, marriage is for men and women, not for boys and girls."The rib which the Lord God had taken from man,made a woman, and brought her unto the man" Gen 2:22. Maturity is required before marriage. One needs to be mature spiritually,physically and emotionally. However, maturity can be determined from two view points: age and ability to handle life situations.One that is mature for marriage should be able to assume responsibility for his/her actions,and take up the welfare of his/her spouse and children.If you are not mature enough to be a parent, then you are not mature enough for marriage. Adulthood is a basic requirement for success in marriage.
